AUTHOR YOUR OWN ADVENTURE (Grades 7 & Up)

Let your students pick any or all of the  journeys in AUTHOR YOUR OWN ADVENTURE and they’ll be sure to let their imaginations fly.

Included in each adventure are introductory information about the adventure, a number of possible disasters and remedies that may befall the adventurer, information on outfitting the adventurer with items pertinent to the time period, and a word list to help spur imaginations.

In AUTHOR YOUR OWN ADVENTURE, students may choose from eight scenarios:

  • greeting Montezuma in 1519;

  • covering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech in 1963;

  • sailing as an immigrant into Ellis Island;

  • heading off to battle in WWII;

  • captaining an 1852 voyage aboard the S. S. Intrepid;

  • pioneering with the family on the Oregon Trail;

  • joining an interstellar adventure to the Alpha Centauri Space Station,

  • journeying with Marco Polo to meet Khubla Khan.

Give all your students a chance for interdisciplinary travel when they write their escapades in AUTHOR YOUR OWN ADVENTURE.

It’s only $19.95.     FREE postage and handling!
